Ginkgo biloba has long been known in china where the leaves are used to make an infusion called “tea of the eternal youth”. one of the oldest known trees, it was brought to our countries as an ornamental tree. the ginkgo is sadly famous for being one of the few living organisms to have survived the atomic bombs that were dropped on japan during the second world war. its resistance to pollution makes it one of the preferred trees for urban zones.
the leaves of ginkgo biloba are very rich in ginkgo-flavonoids and some diterpenes.
recommended daily intake
for maintenance: 1 to 2 capsules per day, one in the morning and one in the evening 30 minutes before meals.
for a cure: 3 capsules a day, one in the morning, one at midday and one in the evening 30 minutes before meals.
do not exceed the recommended dosage.

surgeons prefer that patients do not use ginkgo before surgery because of its power to thin blood.
